How Classes Work
There are five ways to study: online, module, correspondence, in-person, and transfer credit.
Online classes are available throughout the calendar year in three seasons — spring, summer, and fall. They can be accessed over the internet or, for an additional $30 fee, delivered in a jump-drive format.
Modules are offered throughout the year, with between two and three modules every year. A module cannot be live-streamed initially, but it becomes available online the following semester.
Correspondence is limited for undergraduate degrees but more available for graduate-level study. It involves directed studies in specific theological areas requiring extensive reading and analysis.
Yes. In-person classes are offered in the spring and fall of each calendar year at Capitol Baptist Church in Dover, Delaware.
Transfer credit is available on a limited basis with prior approval. Some core classes may not be accepted.
Advising & Requirements
Yes. An advisor is assigned to each student when they enroll. The Dean assists with program enrollment and communicates with each student twice a semester.
Students must agree with the doctrinal statement, attend an independent Baptist church, and provide a pastor or ministry-colleague reference.
A maximum of 80% of coursework may be completed online, and students are required to attend graduation week.
Ministry credit is available to those with ten or more years of ministry experience who are at least 35 years of age.
